Immigration Arrest Teams Operational Guidance and Rules

The UK Border Agency has teams of Immigration Officers (IO’s) who are trained to raid premises and arrest suspected immigration offenders as well as illegal immigrants. These Immigration Officers are at the forefront of the detection of immigration offences as well as enforcement. They have an integral role in the enforcement of UK Immigration Law.
